Terri Lynn Hendricks, a cherished Poplar Bluff resident, passed away at 57. Known for her warmth, devotion to family, and community involvement, she leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion.

Terri Lynn Hendricks, 57, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025, at her home in Poplar Bluff.

Terri was born March 4, 1967, to Fred and Wilma (Hyde) Case in Poplar Bluff. She married the love of her life, Doug Hendricks, Aug, 30, 1986, in Poplar Bluff.

Terri attended school at Poplar Bluff and graduated in 1985. She worked for Scott-Moore Law Firm and then went on to work for the Poplar Bluff School District for 24 years, before retiring just over a year ago.

Terri loved summertime and warm weather. She enjoyed swimming in their family pool and taking vacations to the beach. Terri’s happy place was at home with her family. She and Doug attended and worked at all of Ally’s High School and Raider’s softball games, as well as Conner’s trap meets. Terri liked to cook and host; anyone that came to her home knew that they were going to leave with a full belly. She was a confidant and trusted friend to many. Terri was caring and compassionate, always offering sound advice and an ear to listen. She will truly be missed.

Terri is survived by her husband, Doug; two children, Ally Hendricks (Mitch) and Conner Douglas (Aribi); mother, Wilma Case Parks; sister, Cindy Johnson (Gary); brother, Freddy Case (Heather); along with nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Terri was preceded in death by her father, Fred Case, and father and mother-in-law, Curtis and Ethel Hendricks; stepfather, Sam Parks.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 1 p.m. with Pastor William Turner officiating. Burial will take place at the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
