Marglyn Garner

Marglyn Hollowell Garner, 84, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Dec. 28, 2024, in the Cedargate nursing facility.

She was born Dec. 30, 1939, in Qulin, Missouri to the late Walter Hollowell and Era “Johnson” Hollowell. She was married to Lee Garner at Qulin, Missouri. He preceded her in death March 17, 2022.

She had been a lifelong resident of Butler County, Missouri and had been a bank teller. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, sewing, painting, and reading.

Marglyn is survived by her children, Tammy (Keith) Maloy and Rachel (Nathan) Garner as well as her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Brad Andrews, Ryan Andrews Shana Maloy, Maci Andrew, Zaya Andrews, Shelbi Andrews, and Amzie Andrews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Walter Hollowell Jr. and Arth “Bud” Hollowell.

There is a memorial visitation planned from 11 a.m. till noon Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, all in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home in Neelvyille, Missouri.
