Bobby Thompson

Bobby Lester Thompson, 86, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Feb. 28, 2025 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Bobby was born Oct. 23, 1938 to Tony and Gracie (Hicks) Thompson in Poplar Bluff.

Bobby enjoyed extensive traveling with his wife, Rita, across the United States, fishing and bargain shopping. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Bobby is survived by many nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends and his beloved pet Red.

Bobby was preceded in death by parents, Tony Thompson and Gracie Thompson; wife, Rita; brothers, Lloyd, Danny, Joe, Paul, Jim, Everett; sisters; Lillian, Betty, Elsie and Lessie.

Visitation will be held from noon- 12:45 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff.

Graveside funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with full military honors.
