Unknown assailant stabs woman at Poplar Bluff convenience store
A woman was stabbed by an unknown assailant at a Poplar Bluff convenience store. Police are reviewing surveillance footage and seeking information from the public to aid the ongoing investigation.

Incident Details
The Poplar Bluff Police Department responded at approximately 10:39 p.m. Sunday to a reported stabbing at Casey’s General Store, located in the 500 block of East Pine Boulevard.
Upon arrival, officers found a 40-year-old white female victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim informed officers that she did not know her attacker.
She was initially transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment before being flown to another facility for further care.
Ongoing Investigation
Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the area and interviewing potential witnesses to gather more information about the incident.
