BOYCOM Cablevision, Inc. says it is making significant leadership changes, including the internal promotion of a staff member to chief operating officer and the addition of two new executives.

They will help form a “dream team” poised to guide the company into its next chapter of growth and innovation, said Patricia Jo Boyers, president/CEO and co-founder of BOYCOM Cablevision, Inc, in a press release.

Boyers said she is excited to make the announcement Reid Morgan has been promoted to chief operating officer.

“With 26 years of experience in our industry, Reid Morgan has played a pivotal role in scaling operations and driving product excellence,” Boyers said. “In this new role, Reid will oversee end-to-end operations and strategy execution, ensuring future growth for BOYCOM as he continues to deliver exceptional value to customers.”

Reid responded by saying, “It’s an honor to step into the COO role at such an exciting time for BOYCOM. I look forward to working alongside our incredible team to streamline operations and execute our ambitious growth strategy for the rural residents of Southeast Missouri.”

In addition to this promotion, BOYCOM welcomes Brian Simpson as vice president of operations and engineering and James Eric Russell as the new technical operations manager.

“Together, these executives bring a wealth of expertise and leadership that will help form the company’s ‘dream team,’” Boyers said.

“Simpson brings such a plethora of experience, but he also brings a warm, caring and humble spirit to his new position with BOYCOM,” Boyers said. “His service in the U.S. military is to be commended, with flags waving high. In his military service, as well as previous employer, he served as regional plant engineer whereby he maintained and upgraded over 1,000 miles of existing telecommunications plant and the construction of more than 300 miles of new plant.”

Simpson said he’s thrilled to join BOYCOM and collaborate with this talented team.

“Together, we will grow from this company’s firm foundation into the future to bring exception high speed broadband,” he said.

Russell steps into the role of technical operations manager, with a strong background in overseeing daily operations, improving service delivery, and ensuring customer satisfaction, Boyers said.

“He comes to us with a deep understanding of the dynamic media landscape and has managed various aspects of CATV, FTTH operations, from underground excavation and technical support to logistics,” she said. “Russell’s 25 years of experience as a professional in underground and aerial construction as well as customer relations shall serve him well.”

Joining BOYCOM presents an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact, said Russell.

“I’m excited to bring my experience to the team and help BOYCOM achieve its ambitious goals,” he said.

These executive appointments reflect the company’s commitment to building a leadership team that will position BOYCOM Cablevision, Inc. for long-term success, according to Boyers.

“Reid Morgan’s promotion to COO recognizes his outstanding contributions and deep understanding of our mission, while Brian Simpson and Eric Russell bring fresh perspectives and expertise that will drive our next phase of growth,” she said. “All three of these gentlemen come from a larger corporate environment...

“They have hit the ground running, relishing in their newfound freedom to be more flexible and responsive to the growing needs of rural Southeast Missouri.”
