A 14-year-old suffered serious injuries in a head-on collision on Missouri Highway 51 after his Kawasaki crossed the centerline. The teen was airlifted, while the other driver sustained moderate injuries.

A 14-year-old male suffered serious injuries when his 2025 Kawasaki crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle head on at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday on Missouri Highway 51 at Broseley, Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop E reported.

The juvenile, who was traveling southbound at the time of the accident, was transported by Air Evac. According to the report, he was not wearing a safety device.

The other driver was a 41-year-old man. He reportedly suffered moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was driving a 1994 Ford F150 and was traveling northbound. He was using a safety device.

The report listed both as having Broseley addresses.
