PBRMC Auxiliary awards six scholarships

Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center’s Auxiliary Foundation recently awarded six scholarships to recipients obtaining their healthcare field degrees.

Four of the six recipients are pursuing nursing degrees, one in surgical technology and one in speech-language pathology. More than $9k in scholarships were awarded.

PBRMC’s Auxiliary Foundation awards quarterly scholarships for PBRMC employees, their children, and/or grandchildren who apply, showcase a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and are working towards improving upon or starting their healthcare career.

The PBRMC Auxiliary is comprised of volunteers who run the gift shop. The proceeds from the gift shop go towards scholarships.
