Poplar Bluff offers a month of engaging events, from a sensory bubble experience at the library to a classic "Casablanca" screening supporting Alzheimer's. Enjoy comedy, rodeo, trivia nights, and more throughout March.

Kick off March with movies, bubbles and more.

The Poplar Bluff Library is hosting sensory fun with bubbles at 1 p.m. Saturday at the main branch, while Rodgers Theatre will screen “Casablanca” at 7 p.m. Saturday. Donations at the movie will go to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

Next week also brings comedy and rodeo with events at Three Rivers College and the Black River Coliseum. For more on these and other upcoming events, see our list below.

— Elvis impersonator Doug Church performs, 7-9 p.m. March 15 WHERE Rodgers Theatre COST $20 WHAT Doug Church, a world-renowned Elvis impersonator, brings his talents to the stage for an unforgettable performance.

— Enchanted Forest Ball, 5-7 p.m. March 22 COST $20-$25 WHAT The spring dance is an event for people with special needs. The event is open to anyone living with disabilities. Honored guests and their families are welcome to join. Proceeds benefit PB Buddy Ball.
