The March 1 police reports detail various incidents in Poplar Bluff, including arrests for domestic assault, trespassing, and shoplifting. Additionally, a dog bite and a theft were reported.

Officers responded Saturday, March 1, to 700 block of North 7th Street in reference to assault. Carolyn Thomas, 56, of Poplar Bluff was arrested for fourth-degree domestic assault. Thomas was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded Saturday, March 1, to Wicked Ink in the 1000 Block of North Westwood Boulevard in reference to trespassing. Officers were advised Morganne Elms, 25, of Poplar Bluff was trespassed from the business and continued to come on the property. Elms is being charged for trespassing.

Officers arrested Shelaina Evans, 39, of Piedmont Saturday, March 1, in the 2600 block of North Westwood Boulevard due to an active warrant for her arrest through Wayne County. Evans was released to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.

Scott Fisher, 57, of Poplar Bluff reported Saturday, March 1, that he was bitten by a dog in the area of 13th and Velma Street. Fisher did not require medical attention.

George Strange, 63, of Poplar Bluff reported Saturday, March 1, stealing in the 700 block of North 11th Street.

Officers responded Saturday, March 1, to Walmart Supercenter in the 300 block of South Westwood Boulevard in reference to shoplifting. Officers charged Ross Alvarez, 38, of Poplar Bluff with shoplifting.

Officers arrested Brooke Blech, 26, of Neelyville Saturday, March 1, in the 200 block of North Westwood Boulevard due to an active warrant for her arrest through the Butler County Sherrif’s Department.
