Officers made contact Monday, Feb. 24, with Artis Larue, 34, of Poplar Bluff and Dawn Smith, 46, of Poplar Bluff in the 600 block of Kinzer Street in reference to active warrants through Probation and Parole and Butler County. Both were placed under arrest and transported to the Butler County jail where they were lodged.

Officers made contact Monday, Feb. 24, with William Miller, 40, of Poplar Bluff in reference to a traffic stop. During the stop, officers confiscated several items associated with narcotics. Miller was placed under arrest and transported to the Butler County jail where he was lodged. Charges for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia were sent to the Butler County Prosecutor’s office.

Officers made contact Monday, Feb. 24, with Sonya Bishop, 32, of Poplar Bluff in reference to a traffic stop at the intersection of Bartlett and Riverview Street. Bishop was placed under arrest and transported to the Butler County jail where she was lodged due to outstanding Poplar Bluff City warrants.
