Police reports - Jan. 5

Officers responded Sunday, Jan. 5, to the 2000 block of Tennesse Avenue in reference to property damage. The suspect was intoxicated and had thrown a large rock and hit the victim’s front porch and siding on his house causing damage. The suspect left on foot before officers arrival, therefore charges were sent to the Butler County jail.

Meghan Turner, 34, of Poplar Bluff was arrested Sunday, Jan. 5, on drug charges stemming from a traffic stop. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers conducted a traffic stop Sunday, Jan. 5, on a red GMC truck for speeding on North Main Street at Apple Street. The driver was issued asummons and released at the scene and his vehicle was impounded and towed by Xtreme Towing.

Cheryl Cooper, 50, of Poplar Bluff was arrested Sunday, Jan. 5, on drug charges stemming from a traffic stop. She was booked and released after processing.
