Multiple arrests made Thursday, Jan. 2

Lejon Watkins, 42, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 2, on a Poplar Bluff Municipal warrant and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jocelyn Thompson, 26, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 2, on a Probation & Parole warrant and a Poplar Bluff Municipal warrant. Thompson was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers were dispatched Thursday, Jan. 2, to the 400 block of Bartlet Street in reference to property damage. The victim stated an unknown subject broke their storm door.

Tashanda Fairley, 48, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 2, in reference to a violation of ex parte. Fairley was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Employees of Marshall’s reported Thursday, Jan. 2, a suspicious subject around the trash bins outside.

Employees of J.C. Penny reported Thursday, Jan. 2, a suspect shoplifting from the business. They have not been identified.

Officers were dispatched Thursday, Jan. 2, to the 115 S. Main in reference to a burglary. Upon investigation it was discovered a large amount of wire and building materials were missing from the business. There are no suspects at this time.

A victim reported Thursday, Jan. 2, their phone stolen at Walmart. There are no suspects at this time.

Lonny Vandeford, 62, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 2, on a warrant through Butler County. He was processed and lodged in the Butler County Justice Center.

Matthew Tyler, 38, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 2, during a traffic stop for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released.
