UTV accident claims life of Qulin woman in Butler County

A fatal crash occurred Wednesday afternoon, claiming the life of a 56-year-old woman from Qulin.

The incident took place at approximately 2 p.m., one-half mile west of Fagus in Butler County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident involved a 2024 Polaris Ranger UTV that veered off the right side of the roadway and overturned. The driver, identified as an adult female, was ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle was westbound when the accident occurred.

The victim was pronounced dead shortly after 2 p.m. by Butler County Coroner Jim Akers. She is the fifth fatality in Troop E this year.
