CHN ASIAN BUFFET announced Jan. 4 they had reopened at 929 S. Westwood Blvd. and would not be moving. The facility is newly remodeled, according to the company, and offers discounts for seniors, military, teachers and government personnel.

The 87TH ANNUAL CHAMBER BANQUET will be hosted at 6 p.m. Saturday by the Greater Poplar Bluff Area Chamber of Commerce. Social hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The event will be held at the Black River Coliseum.
