Theresa Wheelis

Theresa M. Wheelis, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away, Oct. 30, 2024 at her residence.

She was born Jan. 11, 1939, in New York, New York to the late Joseph and Anna Bellamacina.

On Oct. 3, 1959, in Queens, New York She was married to Eldon Wheelis. He survives.

Also surviving two daughters, Donna Reynolds (Harve) of Ellsinore, Missouri and Edith Scott (Gary) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one sister, Susan Bellamacina of Carlsbad, California, as well as her grandchildren, Jessica (Lee) Spencer, Anna (Mason) Householder, Norman (Payton) Collins, Dan Scott, Brian Scott, Christopher (Melissa) Scott, Amanda (Jeff) Jackson, Tim (Kimberly) Spears.

She is preceded by her parents as well as one grandchild, Monty Reynolds and one sister, Mary Ann Patterson.

She was a member of the Kerns Chapel Church at Springtown where she served as treasurer and Sunday School Teacher. had worked at K-mart and enjoyed eating out on Tuesday with the retired K-Mart Ladies, flower gardens, going to Branson and volunteering at the V.A. Hospital.

Visitation will be starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, in Kerns Chapel with a graveside service following at 11 a.m. in the Kerns Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Moses Tipton officiating.
