Real estate agent and Downtown Poplar Bluff business owner Stephanie Knoppe has been recognized for her work to help this historic heart of the city.
Knoppe was named the 2024 Downtown Game Changer by Downtown Poplar Bluff Inc.
She was presented the award Wednesday by Downtown Poplar Bluff Advisory Board Chair Beverly Roach, Steve Halter, President of the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce and DPB AB Director, and Executive Director of Downtown Poplar Bluff, Inc. Morgan McIntosh, the group said in an announcement.
“This award was very well deserved. Your dedication to downtown and the historic depot is unwavering,” the group said in a social media post.
Knoppe is president of the Poplar Bluff Historic Depot Restoration Corporation and is owner of The Prom Closet, in addition to working as a real estate agent with PB Realty.
Knoppe has invested both her time and money in helping revitalize Downtown, saying in previous interviews she hopes to the area full of businesses and thriving in the next five years.
