BLOOMFIELD – Join The Stars and Stripes for emergency radio communication options for families and friends at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at The Stars and Stripes National Museum and Library. This informative session, presented by The Stoddard County Emergency Radio Group, will cover radio communications available to the public for both routine and emergency use.
Attendees will learn how to stay connected when cell and internet services fail during major disasters. The group will discuss various communication methods, including Amateur “Ham” Radio, General Mobile Radio Service, Family Radio Service, Multi-Use Radio Service and CB Radio.
