Officers were made aware Wednesday, Aug. 21 of a possible burglary that took place on 8/16 in the 1200 block of Nooney Street. The victim stated several items were taken from the residence. Some items were located at McCoy’s Scrap yard. At this time no suspects have been identified.

Officers were dispatched Wednesday, Aug. 21 to McLane Park in reference to property damage and stealing. The victim stated while at the park, someone broke the window on their vehicle and stole a tan bag. At this time no suspects have been identified.

Officers were dispatched Wednesday, Aug. 21 to the 1100 block of Alice Street in reference to an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was tagged for towing after 96 hrs.

Contact was made with a subject Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the front desk of the station in reference to a violation of ex parte. The victim stated her ex-boyfriend was contacting her by phone. While speaking with the officer, the suspect called the victim again. A probable cause affidavit was sent to the prosecuting attorney.

Contact was made with a subject Wednesday, Aug. 21 at the front desk of the station in reference to lost or stolen property. The victim stated she accidentally left her wallet in a shopping cart at Walmart. Upon returning to get it, the cart was missing. Contact was made with Walmart to review security cameras.

Officers were dispatched Wednesday, Aug. 21 to J.C. Penny in reference to shoplifting. It was reported a white female stole items from the store and left in a white Chrysler 300. Images have been obtained of the suspect.

Employees of RNR Tire reported Wednesday, Aug. 21 a subject not making payments on their rental agreement. Attempts were made to contact the suspect but have been unsuccessful.

A victim contacted the department Wednesday, Aug. 21 in reference to stealing. The victim stated she agreed to exchange a lawn mower for some four wheelers. Upon returning home, she observed the subject riding her mower away from her residence without leaving the four wheelers. No charges are sought at this time.

Contact was made Wednesday, Aug. 21 with employees at J.C. Penny in reference to them wanting a subject trespassed from the business. Contact was made with the subject and they were trespassed.

Diana Summers, 49, Poplar Bluff was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 21 on charges of shoplifting, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an active warrant through Butler County. Summers was stopped by employee’s of Walmart. Summers took items without attempting to purchase the items. Summers was processed and lodged in the Butler County Justice Center.

Candis Lee, 36, Poplar Bluff was taken into custody Wednesday, Aug. 21 for an active warrant through the City of Poplar Bluff. Lee was processed and released on bond.

Officers were dispatched Wednesday, Aug. 21 to Huck’s in reference to an unwanted guest. Contact was made with the subject and he was legally trespassed from the business.

Officers were dispatched Wednesday, Aug. 21 to Save-a-Lot in reference to a shoplifter. Video footage was captured of the incident and the suspect was caught on camera.
