The Wappapello Civic Center board members would like to say Thank You to the DAR for publishing the story about out Modern Woodmen Matching Funds Fundraiser (up to $2500) we had on Aug. 24, for the benefit of sealing our asphalt parking lot. The Spaghetti Dinner/Dance/Gun Raffle was a success. Gearld Oliver won the Ruger 9mm gun.
We would also like to thank Modern Woodmen of America and Rhonda Rainwater of Chapter Number 6240. It is so much appreciated.
Appreciation and thanks also goes to Chuck, Darren and Freddy of Red Light Band for their participation, the volunteers’ help in selling raffle tickets, the ladies who brought desserts to help us out, and Sherry Carpenter of Quality Printing for making flyers for the event as well as those we made monetary donations.
Last but not least a THANK YOU to all who bought a raffle ticket and to each and everyone who came and supported this event.
