Shirley Wilkerson, 77, of Fisk, Missouri, died Saturday, Aug.17, 2024 at Westwood Hills Health Care Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mrs. Wilkerson was born March 9, 1947 in Poplar Bluff.
She operated Shirley’s beauty shop for several years. She also worked part time at Hyde’s Fish house. On Sept. 26, 1964 she married Donnie Wilkerson. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2015.
She is survived by two daughters, Loretta Cecil of Bowling Green, Missouri, and Marilyn Hanks of Fisk; two sisters, Mable Wheetley of Poplar Bluff and Margie Halleene of Temple, Texas, nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, 2024 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kevin Murray officiating. Burial will be in Shain Memorial Cemetery at Fisk, Missouri.
