Officers were dispatched Saturday, Aug. 3, to the 1800 block of Indiana Avenue in reference to a suicidal subject. Upon arrival, one subject stated he wanted to harm himself and another stated he took several handfuls of pills. Both were transported by emergency medical personnel.

Officers were dispatched Saturday, Aug. 3, to the 2600 block of Linda Lane in reference to property damage. The victim stated three males were outside arguing. He heard a loud noise and observed his garage door damaged. The suspects have not been identified.

Contact was made Saturday, Aug. 3, with a subject at the front desk in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim allowed her boyfriend to use the vehicle. When they went to get the vehicle, it was gone.

Contact was made Saturday, Aug. 3, with Tristan E. Fuller, 18, of Poplar Bluff, who was taken into custody for an active warrant through Butler County. Fuller is also charged with resisting arrest due to him allegedly providing a false name. A controlled substance was also located on Fuller. Fuller was processed and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers were dispatched Saturday, Aug. 3, to the 2200 block of Orr Road in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim stated his vehicle was missing from the driveway and he had no idea when it was taken or who would have taken it. Upon further investigation, police said it was possible the individual parked the vehicle somewhere and forgot. The vehicle is entered as stolen.

Aaron Gannon, 36, Poplar Bluff was taken into custody Saturday, Aug. 3, for an active warrant through Butler County. Gannon allegedly resisted officers but was taken into custody a short time later. Gannon will also be charged with resisting arrest, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gannon was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Contact was made Saturday, Aug. 3, at the front desk of the station with a victim in reference to robbery. The victim stated he had just withdrawn a large amount of money and was headed to do a detail job on Vaden Street. The victim stated a black male approached his window with a gun and demanded money. The victim identified possible suspects and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers were dispatched Saturday, Aug. 3, to the 2300 block of Kentucky Street in reference to an assault. Contact was made with one individual, who stated there was a physical alteration; however, they did not want to pursue charges. Contact was made with a second individual at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. They stated they agreed to a mutual fight. There are no charges being sought at this time.

Contact was made Saturday, Aug. 3, with a subject at the front desk of the station in reference to stealing. He stated he allowed his niece to use his Xbox and now it’s missing. The Xbox will be entered as stolen. No suspects have been identified.

Officers were dispatched Saturday, Aug. 3, to the 700 block of Warren Street in reference to a fight. Upon arrival, two subjects were actively involved in a physical confrontation. After de-escalating the situation, officers spoke to those involved. Neither party wanted to pursue charges.

Officers were dispatched Saturday, Aug. 3, to 749 N. Westwood in reference to a leaving the scene accident. The victim returned to the their vehicle in the parking lot and observed the damage to it. No suspects have been identified at this time.
