The autopsy performed Monday on a Ripley County fire victim showed no signs of foul play and the cause of death was smoke inhalation.
The victim of the Friday night house fire has been identified as Danny Halliburton of Oxly.
The cause of death was released Monday afternoon by Ripley County Sheriff Mike Barton, following an autopsy report from Ripley County Coroner Mike Jackson.
The Missouri State Fire Marshal also reported the fire that involved the death was ruled as undetermined and there were no signs of foul play, according to Barton.
Barton had requested the fire marshal investigate the fire scene in the 800 block of Ripley County T-1, which is in the Oxly area.
