A Dexter branch manager is being promoted to executive vice president and chief credit officer for Farmer Credit Southeast Missouri.

Mark Zabelin joined Farm Credit Southeast Missouri as a loan officer in 2003 at the Dexter branch, and was promoted to senior loan officer in 2012. Since 2017, he has served as vice president and branch manager at the Dexter office.

The promotion was announced by president and CEO Greg Cunningham

“Mark’s professionalism, work ethic, positive leadership and excellent rapport with employees and customers make him the logical fit for the EVP/chief credit officer position,” said Cunningham.

Zabelin has a Bachelor of Science degree in agronomy with a minor in horticulture from Northwest Missouri State University.
