Officers were called Tuesday, March 5, to North D Street in reference to stealing. The victim reported he left his bicycle outside on Monday, March 4, and noticed it was missing on today’s date. The bike is bright green.

A female subject came into the police station Tuesday, March 5, to report the loss or theft of property. The subject stated she left a phone in a shopping cart at Kroger. The subject stated she returned to Kroger but it was gone.

Officers observed a vehicle Tuesday, March 5, being operated by Joseph Holman in the area of highways 67 and 53 that did not have registration displayed. A traffic stop was conducted and it was discovered Holman’s driving status is revoked. Holman was arrested for driving while revoked. The vehicle Holman was driving was towed from the scene.

Officers were called Tuesday, March 5, to the 1700 block of Kentucky in reference to a death investigation. There was a male located in the residence that was deceased. The coroner and Poplar Bluff city detectives were contacted to investigate.

Officers were called Tuesday, March 5, to Iron Bridge Road in reference to a leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident. The subject advised he believes the damage occurred at J.C. Penny but he did not notice the damage until he returned home.

Officers were called Tuesday, March 5, to South Broadway in reference to two missing juveniles. One juvenile was later located. The other juvenile is still considered missing.

Officers were called Tuesday, March 5, to the 1100 block of Spring Street in reference to a subject having a mental health crisis. The subject’s in-home health care provider stepped outside due to the subject throwing and breaking items. The subject locked the door. Officers had to force the door open to gain access to the subject. EMS arrived and transported the subject to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Officers were called Tuesday, March 5, to the Black River Coliseum parking lot in reference to a female subject lying on the ground and yelling. Officers did not know if the subject’s actions were due to a mental health issue or if it was drug induced. EMS was contacted. EMS determined they were going to transport to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. The subject had to be restrained to safely transport her to the hospital.

Officers were called Wednesday, March 6, to the 1100 block of Fairmount Street in reference to trespassing. Officers were told Ashley Risner had been evicted from her apartment and had returned. Risner gained entry into the apartment the night before. An officer took Risner into custody for trespassing.
