Officers were dispatched Saturday, March 2, to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center to contact a victim about a dog bite. The victim stated her friend’s dog bit her lip. The victim required stitches and was released.

Officers were dispatched Saturday, March 2, to the 700 block of North 10th Street due to a call of shots fired. Upon speaking with witnesses, a suspect was identified. Video surveillance of the incident was also captured. Caden Anderson, 19, of Poplar Bluff was later contacted and taken into custody. Anderson was lodged in the Butler County jail and is charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

Officers were dispatched Saturday, March 2, to the 800 block of Poplar Street in reference to a report of molestation to a minor. Contact was made with the reporting party and they stated they were told by a minor. During the investigation, a possible suspect was identified and interviewed. Division of Family Services was notified and will be setting up an interview with the minor. The investigation is ongoing.

Contact was made Saturday, March 2, with James Green, 51, of Poplar Bluff in reference to three active warrants for his arrest through Butler County. Green was taken into custody, processed, and lodged in the Butler County jail.
