A manager at Menards at 3105 Oak Grove Road reported at 8:08 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, a vehicle struck a cart enclosure at the business on the night of Thursday, Jan. 11.

Adam Hillis was contacted at 8:05 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center where he sought treatment for being shot with a BB gun. Hillis advised the incident occurred in the 1700 Block of Garfield and the incident was determined to be an accidental discharge of the BB gun.

Peggy Anderson reported at 8:47 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, an assault that occurred at Murphy’s Express, 303 S. Westwood Blvd. The incident was captured on video.

Jerry Wyatt of Wyatt’s Auto Sales reported at 9:44 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12, a vehicle was stolen from his car lot on Thursday, Jan. 11. The vehicle was recovered Saturday, Jan. 13, in the 400 block of Highway 53.

Officers responded at 7:01 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 600 block of North Eighth Street. No injury was reported and neither party wanted to pursue charges.

Nathan Hall, 42, of Poplar Bluff was booked at 8:12 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on traffic offenses ($500 bond) and he was released on bond.

Derek Jennings reported at 9:49 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, his tools and a scooter were stolen while he was working at a residence in the 500 block of Oak Street. Jennings’ tools were recovered but his scooter was not.

Jacob Voshell, 40, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, during a traffic stop on Main Street. Voshell was booked on a Jefferson City Probation and Parole warrant for parole absconder (no bond) and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Artis Larue, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:33 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, on Poplar Street for possession of drug paraphernalia. Larue was also booked in on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on stealing ($500 bond) and a Probation and Parole warrant for parole violation (no bond). He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

An employee of Baldwin GMC reported at 8:27 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, damage was done to the rear window of a vehicle while it was parked on the car lot. Employees later determined the window had been struck by a bullet.

Officers responded at 9:16 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, to the Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. to assist a female with mental health issues. The individual received medical treatment at the hospital.

Ronald Williams, 49, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Jay’s Corner Store, 1040 S. Broadway St. Williams was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on property damage ($500 bond) and he was released on bond.

Randy Vincent, 41, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, during a traffic stop on Neat Street. Vincent was booked on a Butler County warrant for a traffic offense ($250 bond) and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Justin Livingston, 41, of Doniphan was arrested at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, during a traffic stop at Huck’s Quick Stop, 703 N. Westwood Blvd. Livingston was booked for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and released.

Officers responded at 9:37 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 14, to Walmart Supercenter 333 S. Westwood Blvd. for an intoxicated person creating a disturbance. An employee banned the suspect from the property and they left without further incident.

Corey Holbeck was arrested at 1:47 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, at his residence in the 900 block of Cole Avenue. Holbeck was booked in on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on burglary ($15,00 bond) and six Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on code violations ($3,000 bond). He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

An employee at Walmart Supercenter at 333 South Westwood Blvd. reported at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, an adult male previously banned from the property was seen on the parking lot looking into vehicles. Efforts to locate the suspect failed and the matter was referred to the Butler County prosecutor.

A silver 2013 Nissan Altima was towed at 7:36 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, from a traffic stop on North Westwood Boulevard after it was determined the vehicle was not insured and the driver had no license. The driver was released at the scene and traffic tickets were mailed to them.

Staff members at Southeast Missouri Residential Services assisted-living facility at 2513 Kanell Blvd. reported at 7:50 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, a resident assaulted them during a confrontation over a glass of water. The resident calmed down and apologized, and was left in the facility’s care.

Stacey Fischer reported at 8:44 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, her dog bit a child in the residence. The child was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Officers responded at 10:08 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, to a residence in the 800 block of Cedar Street for a domestic disturbance. The suspect left the scene before the police were called and the victim did not want to press charges.
