An employee at Big Lots at 2160 N. Westwood Blvd. reported at 1:53 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, someone broke into a storage container behind the store and stole furniture.

Officers responded at 2:08 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, to a house in the 800 block of Mary Street for a drug overdose. The resident of the house administered Narcan and the victim regained consciousness before EMS arrival. The victim refused further medical attention.

Shakia McIntyre reported at 2:33 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, her boyfriend assaulted her at their residence in the 2000 block of Wallace Street. The suspect left before the police were called.

Scott Hummel reported at 3:13 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, living room furniture and a television was stolen from his residence in the 1200 block of South 14th Street in November. Hummell suspected a former house guest of the theft.

Michael Stuhr, 49, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 12:09 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, during a traffic stop on Oak Grove Road. Stuhr was booked on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic and code enforcement violations. He was held at the Butler County jail.
