Cody S. Horner, 35, of Dexter was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, in Stoddard County on suspicion of DWI. He was released.

A 41-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 11:17 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, on Highway H, three miles south of Powe.
According to the report, Jaime N. Houchins, 41, of Bloomfield was operating a 2011 GMC Yukon northbound when it traveled off the left side of the road and overturned.
Houchins was taken by private conveyance to SoutheastHEALTH in Dexter.

Ashley Holland was arrested at 7:40 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, during a traffic stop on Shelby Road. Holland was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense and released on bond.

Officers responded at 10:34 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 700 block of Cynthia Street. No injury was reported and no charges were filed.

Terry Miller reported at 12:27 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, an adult male acquaintance damaged his car while he was in the 900 block of Mulberry Street

Officers responded at 4:38 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, to a residence in the 800 block of Lester Street for a report a child had been assaulted, and also that the landlord refused to address electrical issues and fire hazards in the home. There were no smoke detectors in the home and the Poplar Bluff Fire Department donated several to the family. The Child Abuse/Neglect hotline and the building inspector were notified.

Ethan Dominguez, 29, of Harviell was arrested at 1:14 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, during the investigation of a dumpster fire at Ideal Bread at 209 S. Westwood Blvd. Dominguez was booked on charges of property damage and knowingly burning and held at the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 1:39 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 1600 block of Wallace Street. One party left prior to officer arrival and the other party did not want to press charges.
