Edgar D. Langley, 20, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:52 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in Butler County on suspicion of misdemeanor DWI (alcohol), speeding and no insurance. He was booked at the Butler County jail on a 12-hour hold.

Sarah M. Jordan, 30, of Cape Girardeau was arrested at 5:08 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in Stoddard County on suspicion of DWI (alcohol) and failure to have two lighted headlamps. She was released.

A 28-year-old man sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, on Interstate 55 in Scott County. According to the report, Eric D. Bennett, 28, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2014 Chevrolet Traverse southbound when it rear-ended a southbound 2001 Buick Century operated by James B. Pirtle, 55, of Scott City. Bennett was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

An employee at the park department reported at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, someone gained entry to the concession stand at Whiteley Park and stole food and drinks.

Lasean White, 18, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, on Fairmount Street. White was booked on Butler County warrants for stealing and first-degree robbery and held at the Butler County jail.

A white 2007 Dodge Caliber was towed from a traffic stop at 8:07 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, on Ninth Street after it was determined the registration was expired and the vehicle was not insured. Driver Nora Powell, 42, of Poplar Bluff was issued traffic tickets and released at the scene.

Robert Foster, 48, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:33 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, in connection with the investigation of a theft complaint at Poplar Bluff Tobacco at 204 S. Westwood Blvd. Foster was booked on a charge of stealing and held at the Butler County jail.

A white 2012 Ford Taurus was towed from a traffic stop at 11:21 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, on Vine Street after it was determined it was not registered properly and was not insured. Driver Johnny Price, 39, of Poplar Bluff was issued traffic tickets and released at the scene.

Alana Ross-McDonald, 23, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:05 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, during a traffic stop on South Sixth Street. Ross-McDonald was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense and released on bond.
