Daniel Peterek reported at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, he was assaulted by an adult female trespasser in his apartment building in the 1100 block of North Main Street. The suspect left before the police were called.

An employee at Poplar Bluff High School reported at 9:46 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, a juvenile student said they were going to “shoot up the school” loudly enough for several people in the classroom to hear. The student was also heard saying they had a gun in their backpack. No weapon was found in the student’s backpack. This matter was referred to the juvenile office.

An employee at American Superstore at 2890 N. Westwood Blvd. reported at 1:26 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, someone illegally dumped trash in their dumpster. The suspect was identified by mail found in the trash, and Michael Stuhr, 49, of Poplar Bluff was issued a criminal summons for illegal dumping.

Moslynn Neal reported at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, a package was stolen from the front porch of her residence in the 2600 block of Crestwood Drive.

Roberta Collins reported at 4:48 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, she was assaulted by an adult female acquaintance during a confrontation at a residence in the 1000 block of Tremont Street. A summons for assault was mailed to the suspect.

Wanda Pigg reported at 7:23 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, prescription medications were stolen from her residence in the 400 block of Karen Drive.

Amanda Martin, 43, of Kennett was arrested at 12:54 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at a residence in the 300 block of West Henry Street. Martin was booked on a Kennett municipal warrant for failure to appear on stealing and a Dunklin County warrant for failure to appear on stealing. She was held at the Butler County Jail.
