Chris Browning reported at 9:05 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, an ex-girlfriend left a scented package outside his residence in the 1400 block of Highway 53 in violation of a protection order.

An employee at Northside Nutrition Center reported at 10:26 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, someone entered their facility at 506 Hazel St. and stole a large quantity of food items.

An employee at Car Mart reported at 10:41 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, a customer threw keys at them as they repossessed a vehicle in the 600 block of Kinzer Street.

Officers responded at 11:09 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 to a residence in the 700 block of Vine Street for a domestic assault. Two adults each claimed the other assaulted them during a confrontation at the residence. The parties agreed to separate and no charges were filed.

Brandon Keeton, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the intersection of South Westwood Boulevard and Cherry Street. Keeton was booked on a Probation and Parole warrant for parole violation and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 1:16 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, to the Mark Twain Alternative School at 1235 N. Main St., for a report of a teacher creating a disturbance and refusing to leave the school. The teacher was taken into custody and taken to the emergency room for evaluation.

Officers responded at 1:27 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, to a residence in the 900 block of Kendall Street for a report of an adult female suffering a mental health crisis. The victim was taken to the emergency room for evaluation.

Bailee Gallion reported at 1:36 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, a suspicious white male had been seen in the area of her residence in the 800 block of North Riverview. The property owner later reported the white male damaged a door screen and stole a surveillance camera mounted outside the residence.

An employee at Dollar General Store at 704 E. Pine St. reported at 2:06 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, two adult males and an adult female stole several items from the store.

Alicia Ross reported at 4:03 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, someone broke into her residence in the 1800 block of Seifert Drive.

An employee at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. reported at 5:21 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, a white male stole merchandise and left the property on a bicycle. The white male was identified as the suspect in other recent thefts from the store.

Gary Scaglione, 41, of Wappapello was arrested at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at RM Conexions gaming hall at 54 Highway 142. Scaglione was booked on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on forgery and lodged in the Butler County jail.

__MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL__

John P. Spudich Jr., 49, of St. Louis was arrested at 8:54 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, in Wayne County on a Jefferson County felony warrant for resisting arrest, a Probation and Parole warrant for violating probation and on suspicion of DWI (chronic offender). He was booked at the Wayne County jail.
