Two people sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, on Highway 72, one mile west of Centerville.
According to the report, Vaughn D. Roberts, 53, of Salem was operating a 2010 Chevrolet Express eastbound when it crossed the center line and struck head-on an eastbound 2010 Chrysler Sebring operated by Andrew S. Bullock, 48, of Bunker.
Two passengers in the Chevrolet, Michael D. Chitwood, 53, of Ellington and Tasha Maize, 33, of Lesterville, were transported by Washington County Ambulance to Iron County Medical Center.

A 73-year-old man sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, on County Road 4414, one-half mile south of Poplar Bluff.
According to the report, Jason T. Cummins, 45, of Poplar Buff was backing a Ford F-250 truck into the road and struck an eastbound 1999 Suzuki Vitara operated by Michael A. Crismon, 73, of Poplar Bluff.
Crismon was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, on Interstate 55 in northern Cape Girardeau County.
According to the report, Sarah E. Geist, 42, of Bloomfield was operating a 2019 Ford Taurus northbound when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail, damaging it.
Geist sustained moderate injuries, while a passenger in her vehicle, Rodney D. Rigmaiden, 45, of St. Louis, sustained minor injuries. Both were transported by Cape County EMS to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Isaiah S. Allen, 29, of Black was arrested at 8:29 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, on suspicion of DWI and driving while revoked. He was processed and released.
__POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT__
Ray Burden, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:06 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at a residence in the 1100 block of North Main Street. Burden was booked on a charge of violation of a protection order and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Ray Alford reported at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, the front license plate was missing from his vehicle.

An employee at T.J. Swift Residential Care reported at 2:24 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, a juvenile resident assaulted her while they were at Huck’s convenience store at 703 N. Westwood Blvd. The juvenile was transported to the emergency room for evaluation and was released to a guardian.

Malika Winters reported at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, her ex-boyfriend threatened her and assaulted her at Speed Queen Laundry at 1445 N. Westwood Blvd.

Chrystal Sullivan, 45, of Poplar Bluff was booked at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses. Sullivan was unable to post bond but she was released on her own recognizance.

Officers responded at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18, to an alarm at Munch and Pump at 1401 S. Broadway and found a broken window. Review of surveillance footage captured the burglary, and officers recognized the suspect as a juvenile. The matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.
