Amanda Vinson, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:17 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at her residence in the 1800 block of Maud Street. Vinson was booked on charges of fourth-degree assault and peace disturbance. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Pamela Wallace reported at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, someone entered her residence in the 2500 block of High Street while she was away. Electronic devices and a bottle of prescription medications were stolen.

Marty Striver, 41, of Poplar Bluff was detained at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at Walmart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Striver was issued a criminal summons for trespassing and released at the scene.
