An employee at Menard’s at 3105 Oak Grove Road reported at 8:11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, a customer stole a rented floor sander.

Matthew Clatt, 36, of Poplar Bluff and Charles Beard, 35, of Poplar Bluff were arrested at 11:18 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, in the 700 block of North 10th Street. Clatt was booked on a Wayne County warrant for probation violation and Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on stealing and trespassing. Beard was booked on Butler County warrants for probation violation and failure to appear on possession of a controlled substance, and Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on assault and code violations. Both were lodged in the Butler County jail.

Joe Irlas, 37, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 12:32 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, during a traffic stop in the 700 block of Vine Street. Irlas was booked on charges of DWI and careless and imprudent driving. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Lillian Canania, 19, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:19 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, during a traffic stop on North Westwood Boulevard. Canania was booked on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on disorderly conduct and a traffic offense. Canania was unable to post bond but she was released on her own recognizance.

Jodeci Haynes, 24, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:56 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at her residence in the 1400 block of Mill Street. Haynes was booked on a Carter County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jordan Findley, 21, of Poplar Bluff was booked at 2:47 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, on a Poplar Bluff m0unicipal warrant for a traffic offense and released on bond.

Amos Billops reported at 3:48 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, he sent $300 to a Paypal account to rent a house online through Home For Rent. After checking further, Billops learned the rental posting was fraudulent.

Terrance Fields, 28, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 4:44 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, in the 100 block of Relief Street. Fields was booked on a Dunklin County warrant for first-degree burglary and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jason Jennings, 44, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:34 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, during a traffic stop in the 1000 block of South Broadway. Jennings was booked on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on property damage and a Scott County warrant for failure to appear on non-support.

Officers responded at 8:34 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, to a residence in the 1100 block of Bradley Street for a report of an adult male flourishing a machete. An adult female said the suspect was her roommate’s boyfriend, and he was holding the weapon and chased her roommate’s car as she left the scene. The suspect yelled and ran toward the reporting party and she retreated into her residence. The suspect left the scene before the police were called.

Demarcus Reynolds, 25, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 3:35 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at his residence in the 500 block of West Henry Street. Reynolds was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense and released on bond.
