Alarms started sounding at the Butler County Fire Department about 1:09 p.m. Saturday and continued non-stop until 2:32 p.m. The first of three calls was at 2181 County Road 484. Alarms started sounding at the Butler County Fire Department about 1:09 p.m. Saturday and continued non-stop until 2:32 p.m.

The first of three calls was at 2181 County Road 484. According to fire reports, crews responded to a motor home on fire and fully involved upon arrival. The seven firefighters used 2,500 gallons of water in fighting the blaze.

The second alarm at 1:55 p.m. was a structure fire at 762 County Road 420.

According to reports, the nine firefighters were at the scene for 3 hours and 30 minutes. The structure, owned Matt Patterson, was totaled.

At 2:32 p.m. while still fighting the structure fire, a third alarm came in for a fire involving a tractor and baler at 1352 County Road 425. According to the report, the equipment was fully involved upon the team’s arrival. Four firefighters were at the scene.

The amount of water used on the last two scenes was unavailable at press time.
