Ashley Risner, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 12:43 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at a residence in the 1100 block of Fairmount Street. She was booked on Wayne County warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Melody Hill, 40, of Puxico was arrested at 1:05 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at 3100 Oak Grove Road. Hill was booked on a charge of trespassing and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Candace Phelps, 42, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:14 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at her residence in the 400 block of North D Street. Phelps was booked on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on non support and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Joe Thompson, 41, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:12 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at his residence in the 2300 block of Tennessee Street. Thompson was booked on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on non-support and a Probation and Parole warrant for probation violation. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

An employee at Ulta Beauty reported at 2:46 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, three black females stole approximately $2,000 worth of merchandise.

Kevin Brinkley reported at 3:35 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, someone broke into his mother’s residence in the 1400 block of Grove Street and stole several items.

Marlon Roberson reported at 5:54 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, his vehicle was struck on Westwood Boulevard at Pine Street.

Brandon Sullivan, 20, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:21 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at the Winning Circle at 120 North 10th St. Sullivan was booked on a charge of resisting arrest, a Probation and Parole warrant for a parole violation and a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on stealing. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 10:13 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, to a residence in the 400 block of Karen Drive for a report that a toddler was left unattended inside the apartment. The child was taken by ambulance to the hospital. Jerra Rosspink, 20, of Poplar Bluff was arrested the next morning, according to the report. She was booked on charges of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and abuse or neglect of a child. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jason McGee, 49, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:56 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Casey’s General Store at 1995 S. Broadway. McGee was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on resisting arrest. McGee was unable to post bond but he was released on his own recognizance.

Sara Thomas reported at 11:55 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, her cell phone was stolen from the laundry room at Comfort Inn.

A resident on Bradley Street reported at 12:36 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, someone knocked on their front door earlier but they did not answer. When they reviewed video footage they found a male subject knocked on the front door and then a neighbor’s and held a pistol in his right hand. The resident didn’t know the male subject.

Jeffery Zitnak reported at 1:57 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, two rifles were stolen from his car.

A white 2012 Nissan Sentra was found abandoned at 3:22 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, in the traffic lane of the 1800 block of Kentucky Avenue. The vehicle had been vandalized and both passenger side tires were flat. The vehicle was impounded and towed from the scene.

George Alfaro, 41, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:28 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at his residence in the 600 block of West Pine Street. Alfaro was booked on charges of peace disturbance and resisting arrest and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded at 7:43 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, to the Municipal Utilities lot at 3000 N. Westwood Blvd. for a leaving the scene accident. A silver 2013 Ford Explorer drove into the fenced lot and struck two parked trucks; and the occupants fled the scene, according to the report. The driver, a juvenile male, and vehicle owner, an adult female, were found nearby and they provided details and insurance information for the accident report.

Officers responded at 12:55 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office for a fight. Janice Eudaley and Lauren Wilkerson reported a fight erupted during a custody exchange on the parking lot at the public library. Eudaley and Wilkerson were each issued a ticket for affray and released.

Artis Larue, 33, of Poplar Bluff was booked at 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on stealing. He was released on bond.

Caleb Clark, 25, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:12 a.m. Monday, Aug. 7, in the 900 block of West Harper Street. Clark was booked on a charge of trespassing and released on his own recognizance.
