Roy Lacey, 45, of Poplar Bluff was booked at the police department at 6:42 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses. Lacey was unable to post bond and was released on his own recognizance.

Zachary Lawler, 28, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, on Lester Street. Lawler was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.

Garlon Granger reported at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, he was assaulted by his boyfriend during a confrontation in his vehicle. Granger got out of the vehicle and called the police. A criminal summons for domestic assault was mailed to the suspect.

An employee at Save-A-Lot reported at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, a white female stole merchandise from the store. When the employee told the suspect she would call the police, the suspect allegedly said “good, go ahead.” The suspect left the property before the police were called.

Felicia McDonald, 52, of Poplar Bluff was booked at 12:22 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses. McDonald was unable to post bond and was released on her own recognizance.

Justin Hicks, 30, of Thayer was arrested at 9:11 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, during a traffic stop on Spring Street. Hicks was booked on a Butler County warrant for forgery and lodged in the Butler County jail.

Franklin Wallace reported at 9:46 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, his ex-girlfriend assaulted him at his residence in the 300 block of North G Street. Wallace was not injured in the attack, and he did not want to press charges.

Kay Carda reported at 10:26 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, jewelry was stolen from her residence in the 1700 block of Ellen Street.

Officers responded at 10:29 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, to a residence in the 2100 block of Orr Road for a juvenile suffering a mental health crisis. The juvenile was taken by ambulance to the emergency room for evaluation.

Lawanda Logan reported at 11:01 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, her roommate stole her cell phone and used her EBT card without her permission. The suspect left before the police were called.

Peter Manase, 34, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 4:25 a.m. Thursday, July 27, at a residence in the 100 block of South Broadway. Manase was booked on a charge of first-degree burglary and lodged in the Butler County jail.
