Officers responded to Mansion Mall Shopping Center at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 20, for a reported drug overdose. The victim was transported by ambulance to the emergency room.

China Reed reported at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 20, an adult female assaulted her juvenile daughter at her residence in the 1000 block of Tremont Street. The suspect left the scene before the police were called.

An adult female reported at 12:49 p.m. Thursday, July 20, her boyfriend assaulted her at their residence on County Road 523. Efforts to locate the suspect failed, and the matter was referred to the Butler County Prosecutor.

David Wise, 33, of Qulin was booked at 1:41 p.m. Thursday, July 20, at the police department on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses with a $1,000 bond. Wise was unable to post bond and was released on his own recognizance.
