An employee at Cape Electrical Supply reported at 10:01 a.m. Monday, July 17, that a license plate was stolen from a business truck.

Jason Kassinger, 37, of Campbell was booked at 11:15 a.m. Monday, July 17, on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on no insurance with a $225 bond. Kassinger was unable to post bond and was released on his own recognizance.

Alan Buttry reported at 12:22 p.m. Monday, July 17, that his mother’s cell phone was stolen from her room at Westwood Hills Nursing Home.

Alecia Zahlen, 35, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 4:42 p.m. Monday, July 17, at the apartment building at 518 Bartlett St. Zahlen was booked on a charge of trespassing and was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Cody Woods reported 6:17 p.m. Monday, July 17, that someone slashed the tires of his car while it was parked on the lot at Mid Continent Steel and Wire at 2700 Central Ave.

Franklin Hodgkiss, 56, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:24 a.m. Tuesday, July 18, on Hays Street. Hodgkiss was booked on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on shoplifting with a $250 bond. Hodgkiss was unable to post bond and was released on his own recognizance.
