Jared Hobbs, 33, of Williamsville, was arrested at 8:39 a.m. Feb. 6, at Rhino’s at 953 N. Westwood Blvd. Hobbs was booked in on a Butler County warrant for fraud with a $50,000 bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jewelyn Gooch, 22, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 11:27 a.m. Feb. 6, on the parking lot at Wal-Mart Supercenter at 333 S. Westwood Blvd. Gooch was booked in on a Butler County warrant for larceny with a $5,000 cash only bond and she was lodged in the Butler County jail.

An adult male reported at 12:38 p.m. Feb. 6, his estranged wife flourished a handgun during an argument at their residence in the 1000 block of Nooney Street.

An employee at Prestige Salon at 928 Ida St. reported at 4:07 p.m. Feb. 6, an air conditioning unit was stolen from the property.

An employee at Huck’s Quick Stop at 703 N. Westwood Blvd. reported at 4:42 p.m. Feb. 7 cash missing from the register.

Officers initiated a traffic stop on a blue Dodge pickup on East Pine St. at 10:14 p.m. Feb. 7, the driver fled, and the pursuit was terminated after officers determined young children were in the vehicle with the driver. The driver was identified and the matter was referred to the Butler County Prosecutor.

Lewis Bean reported at 12:26 a.m. Feb. 7, an adult male acquaintance left a threatening message on his voicemail.

John Lance, 38, of Ellsinore, was booked at 7:46 a.m. Feb. 7 in the Poplar Bluff Police Department on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on no insurance with a $400.00 bond. Lance was unable to post bond and he was released on his own recognizance.

Officers responded at 1:28 p.m. on Feb. 7, to a leaving the scene of an accident at the Rodgers Theatre at 204 N. Broadway. Witnesses reported an excavator on a trailer pulled by a large truck struck the awning on the front of the building. The truck and an escort vehicle fled the scene northbound on North Broadway. Surveillance video footage from a neighboring business was collected. Anyone with information about the accident was asked to contact the Poplar Bluff Police Department.

Rebecca Shaver, 41, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 9:42 p.m. Feb. 7, during a traffic stop on Peach St. Shaver was booked in on a Scott County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic violation with a $500 cash only bond and she was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Bruce Lacy, 34, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 12:53 p.m. Feb. 7, at the probation/parole community supervision center at 1441 Black River Industrial Park Rd. Lacy was booked in on a probation/parole warrant for parole violation with no bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Jeffery Casey, 41, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 2:36 a.m. Feb. 8, during a traffic stop on North 11th Street. Casey was booked in on a probation/parole warrant for parole violation with no bond and a Butler County warrant for assault with a $2,500 bond. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.
