Molly J. Robinson and Owen R. Scherr have been chosen the March 2023 Students of the Month for Greenville High School.
__Robinson__
Robinson is an active student who is a member of Senior Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, FCS and National Honor Society. She will also be an A+ graduate.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, going on nature walks, going to work and spending time with her boyfriend.
After graduation, she plans on continuing her college career at Southeast Missouri State University and working towards her Bachelor of Science in nursing.
She is the daughter Kathryn Inman and Richard Robinson of Poplar Bluff.
__Scherr__
Scherr participates in several activities. He has been elected class president three years of his four-year high school career. Other activities in which Scherr participates include FCS, Bear Ambassador, NHS, Senior Beta Club and FCCLA (in which he is currently a chaplain).
Athletics have also played a major part in Scherr’s high school career. He is a member of the Greenville High School Bears boys’ basketball, baseball, track and field and cross country teams. He is also an A+ student and will graduate with honors.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, participating in any kind of physical activity and being in the outdoors any chance he gets.
Scherr plans on attending Three Rivers College in the fall of 2023 to obtain an associate degree in business with a possible minor in communications. Then, he will attend Mineral Area College to earn an electrician’s certificate. He would like to have a career in the electrical trade field and eventually become a master electrician. His career path also includes establishing his own company, “O’s Electric” (name subject to change.) Scherr major goal is to eventually give back to the community that helped structure his academic and career path.
He is the son of Tricia Owens of Poplar Bluff and George Scherr and Shelia Sullivan of Williamsville..
