Officers responded to an alarm at Faraone’s Pawn Shop at 12:37 a.m. Jan. 25, at 1620 South Broadway. Two subjects in black clothing damaged a fence and the rear door of the building in an unsuccessful attempt to break in.

Officers responded at 1:28 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, to a drug overdose at the intersection of North Grand at Center Street. The victim regained consciousness before EMS arrived, and he was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

An employee at Poplar Bluff Middle School reported at 5:20 p.m. Jan. 24, a juvenile student told another juvenile student they would ‘shoot up’ their house. This matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

An employee at Walmart Neighborhood Market at 3001 Oak Grove Rd. reported at 2:44 p.m. Jan. 25, two white females tried to steal merchandise. When confronted they surrendered the stolen items and left the store.
