Poplar Bluff Police Department Debra Moyer reported at 8:21 a.m. Jan. 24, someone broke a side window out of her truck while it was parked in the 1000 block of South Broadway. _ Timothy Krishna, 39, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at a residence in the 500 block of Oak St. Krishna was booked in on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of dangerous drugs with a $10,000 bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail...

Timothy Krishna, 39, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at a residence in the 500 block of Oak St. Krishna was booked in on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of dangerous drugs with a $10,000 bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

An employee at Poplar Bluff Middle School reported on Jan. 24, a student received a veiled threat of violence through an anonymous texting app. A second student later said they received the same message, sent from the same texting app. Additional officers and detectives thoroughly searched the campus, and officers were posted at the school for the rest of the school day. The investigation continues.

Walter Painter reported at 4:23 p.m. Jan. 24, his black Chevrolet Impala was stolen from the 800 block of Park Street.

Alisha Keirns, 21, of Poplar Bluff, was detained at 3:45 p.m. Jan. 24, at Walmart Supercenter. Keirns was issued a criminal summons for stealing and she was released.

Joseph Rouse reported at 7:38 p.m. Jan. 24, someone broke into his residence in the 800 block of Kendall Street and stole three televisions.

Tawana Craig reported at 8:46 p.m. Jan. 24, a white Chevrolet Malibu struck her vehicle on Barron Road and left the scene.

Michaela Hale, 24, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 10:02 p.m. Jan. 24, on East Pine Street. Hale was booked in on charges of possession of heroin, possession of amphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia; and a Butler County warrant for probation violation with a $20,000 cash only bond. Hale was lodged in the Butler County jail.
