Dennis Fain reported at 10:47 a.m. Jan 17, someone broke into his car while it was parked on the lot at Super 8 Motel at 2831 N. Westwood Blvd.

Officers responded to a reported drug overdose on South 11th St. at 1:25 p.m. Jan. 17. The victim said they had taken fentanyl and they were transported by ambulance to the emergency room.

Officers responded to a report at 1:43 p.m. on Jan. 17, of a severely intoxicated person lying on the ground in the 900 block of Oakwood. The victim was transported by ambulance to the emergency room.

A red wallet found on Jan 17, on the premises of an apartment building in the 1100 block of North Main Street was turned in at the front desk of the police department. The wallet held state ID cards of several different persons.

A motorcycle stolen in Butler County was recovered at 4:22 p.m. on Jan. 17, a on the parking lot at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts Store at 591 N. Westwood Blvd. Dale Adams, 44, of Ellsinore, was arrested without incident. He was booked in on a charge of stealing a motor vehicle, a Carter County warrant for failure to appear on a traffic offense with a $300 cash only bond and a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on a nuisance violation with a $50 bond. He was lodged in the Butler County jail. The motorcycle was released to the owner at the scene.

Teeshawnta Dudley reported at 4:29 p.m. Jan. 17, an adult female called her a profane name and threatened her inside Walmart Supercenter at 333 South Westwood Blvd. A criminal summons for peace disturbance was mailed to the suspect’s last known address.

Brandon Walker reported at 5:49 p.m. on Jan. 17, a pistol was missing from his vehicle.

A passenger vehicle was impounded and towed from a traffic stop on South Broadway at 12:36 p.m. Jan. 17, after it was determined the driver’s license was revoked and had no proof of insurance. The driver was released at the scene and traffic citations were mailed to their last known address.

Thomas Youngblood was arrested during a traffic stop on East Pine St. Youngblood was booked in a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on driving while revoked or suspended with a $1,000 bond, a Poplar Bluff Municipal warrant for failure to appear on driving while revoked or suspended with a $100 bond, and additional charges of resisting arrest and no license plates. Youngblood was lodged in the Butler County jail.
