Misty D. Dunkin, 40, of Naylor, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023, at her residence.
Mrs. Dunkin was born to Debra Ashworth and Mark Joehrs in Rolla, Missouri, Dec. 23, 1982. She was a longtime member of Palace of Praise in Poplar Bluff. Misty loved people and truly had a heart for others. Misty enjoyed being an educator. One of her greatest passions was educating students in matters of academics and life.
On Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, she was united in marriage to Brooks Dunkin. He survives along with their three children of the home: Parker, Presley, and Paxton Dunkin. Other survivors include her mother: Debra Ashworth of Poplar Bluff; one brother: Chad Joehrs of Poplar Bluff; one sister: Dani Jo Sneathern of Oklahoma; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Palace of Praise in Poplar Bluff. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Palace of Praise in Poplar Bluff with Bishop Kent Miller officiating. Burial will be at the Naylor Cemetery in Naylor.
