__Poplar Bluff Fire Department__
Poplar Bluff Firefighters responded at 1:52 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, to smoke in the 1900 block of Wallace Street. They found an unauthorized burn at 1914 Wallace St.
They used 10 gallons of water to extinguished the fire and informed the resident Sharon Thomas about the burning ordinance.

Firefighters responded at 5:28 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8, to Gates Rubber Co., 1650 Rowe Parkway, to an alarm. Upon arrival, employees and the manager stated they had lost power and saw a transformed blow across the parking lot. Fire personnel noticed there was no power to other factories in the industrial park and notified Municipal Utilities. The alarm was set off by a power outage.
