Sherry Lynn Smith, 65, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 15, 1957 at St. Louis, the daughter of William Murdock and Norma (Ward) Murdock. A long time resident of Poplar Bluff, Sherry was a member of the Highland Drive Church of Christ and had worked for Walmart.
She was married to Jackie Smith and he passed away Oct. 23, 2017. She is also preceded in death by her parents, William and Norma Murdock.
Survivors include one son, William “Billy” Smith of Poplar Bluff; one brother, Alan Murdock of Silva; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral services will follow at noon Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the Forest Chapel Cemetery near Piedmont.
