Tammy S. Summers, 51, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Summers was born to Leon and Sherry Pennington May 1, 1971, in Poplar Bluff. She was a dedicated follower of the Lord. She always put her family above all, and she was a loyal wife, and a phenomenal mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.
On March 16, 2001, she married Forrest Summers. He survives. Also surviving are six children: Ashley (Michael) Taylor of Wappapello, Thomas Taylor of Dexter, Kasey Taylor of Wappapello, Joshua and Joseph Summers of Cape Girardeau, and Leon Summers of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren; her parents: Leon and Sherry Pennington of Wappapello; and one sister: Tonya (Daniel) Digges of Great Mills, Missouri.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Don Richman officiating. Burial will be at Richmann Cemetery in Wappapello.
