__Poplar Bluff Police Department__
An employee at Speed Queen Laundromat at 1445 N. Westwood Blvd turned in three photo ID cards at 9:46 a.m. Dec. 29, which were found in their dryers. Efforts to contact the owners were unsuccessful and the cards were placed into evidence for safekeeping.

An employee at Ulta Beauty at 797 N. Westwood Blvd reported at 11:25 a.m. Dec. 29 that a shoplifting incident happened on Dec. 17.

Kayla Gibson, 31, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 11:56 a.m. on Dec. 29, during a traffic stop on North Westwood Boulevard. Gibson was booked in on New Madrid municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses with a $226.50 cash only bond, and for failure to appear on passing a bad check with a $250 cash only bond. She was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded to the 800 block of West Vine Street for a report of a person lying in the roadway at 1:32 p.m. on Dec. 29. It was determined the person was suffering from a mental health crisis, and they were transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for evaluation.

Jonathan Beard, 38, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 10:21 p.m. on Dec. 29, during the investigation of a leaving the scene accident in the 200 block of South Eighth Street. Beard was booked in on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Tambra Williams reported at 6:29 a.m. Dec. 30, someone vandalized her car while it was parked at her residence in the 2300 block of Arkansas Avenue.
