__Poplar Bluff Police Department__
Alexis Wooden, 26, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at Shoe Carnival at 747 North Westwood Blvd. at 1:02 p.m. Dec. 12. Wooden was booked in on a charge of stealing and she was released pending review by the prosecuting attorney.

A pistol stolen in Ripley County was recovered at Shooter’s Shack at 2102 N. Shelby Rd. at 3:56 p.m. Dec. 12. The customer who brought the gun to the store said he bought it from a third party, and didn’t know it was stolen. The customer provided a statement and was released at the scene. The pistol was seized and placed into evidence.

Cody Mast reported at 9:17 p.m. Dec. 12 that he was in a fight with an unidentified white male on East Pine Street around North Riverview.

Brandon Tumbas, 34, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 10:29 p.m. Dec. 12, following a motor vehicle pursuit in south Poplar Bluff. Tumbas was booked in on charges of assault in the first degree, possession of amphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and several traffic offenses. Tumbas was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Tori Pennington reported at 10:32 p.m. Dec. 12 that a brick was thrown through a window of her residence in the 300 block of West Relief Street.

Jaylyn Cochran, 21, of Poplar Bluff, was booked in on Poplar Bluff municipal warrants at 1:13 a.m. Dec. 13 for failure to appear on traffic offenses with a $750.00 bond. Cochran was unable to post bond and she was released on her own recognizance.

Elbert Cook, 34, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested on Dec. 13, at 5:27 a.m. at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center at 3100 Oak Grove Rd. Cook was booked in on a probation/parole warrant for probation violation with no bond and a Pemiscot County warrant for probation violation with no bond and he was lodged in the Butler County jail.
